I think(? if they haven't dissolved/stopped making music a long time ago) the microphones played where my dad worked and I didn't know and I was sad

I think I would have just played my playlists from 2017 or 2018 when I did

yeh, some of them have rods for ear piercings but I've not had any done

it's funny I was listening to the next song as a kid stuck going to church and gaslighting myself into thinking it was all fine and good and not to think about it, yet I was listening to the next song a lot

I watched a docu following him a year or two ago and he just became so disillusioned that he left and it took a giant toll on his life but it was authentic

but bc I was like under 12 or 13 I hadn't fully realized what it was about until I started questioning around that age

reminds me also of the time at a church camp when the fire alarm went off in our dorm and I slept through it and no one woke me up

then like at 14 I started browsing a teen forum, do not join these - ever (this goes for anyone), and met other trans people and queer or gay people in the self harm section or stuff
a section of the forum where people would ask for advice or to vent, and the largest thread going for many years being a days since you last harmed thread

I think I kept updating my post there till the forum shut down a couple years ago

the forum had good intentions but had serious systematic problems, including a (I believe either ex or current staff member) member who was 25 and grandfathered in who is the other guy I've mentioned grooming me
thankfully after I came to the staff with some time between it, they were swift and very apologetic like

the staff team just wanted it to be a place that people could ask for advice or meet other people their age but

oh that

no it was just people trying to cheer each other on for keeping going for longer periods of time

those exist in a lot of places though

I met a lot of cool people there and was able to realize my specific place in how I view my gender through meeting other people there but the biggest issue was one of the sections they had (I don't even wanna go there) and them not banning users after they weren't a teen anymore

but I hope u can work towards being comfy w urself and not having the thought about what could have been, in time

I think that, once ur of age, queer bar nights or meetups will be good though not drinking drinking n once ur safer w alc or stuff
