I only cried for a moment today. I’m feeling less than you, but similarly, calm now. my parents have gone on vacation so I have the house to myself, I don’t feel like I have to follow some script as much anymore, less weight on me, but I don’t know. this morning I went and got some groceries and imagined I was really trans, and I felt good, and then driving home I passed some kid with a cute cat face mask, and felt sad, and then I talked to a friend online about her boyfriend troubles, and felt confused that I really don’t know how partners can build each other up and let each other change and love each other but not stifle each other, and sacrifice without becoming bitter. and then I was apologizing to a friend that I haven’t changed how I live and waste my time, and her said something like ‘you’re good yourself’ which I really liked that I don’t need to stop being evil failure me that I just can be me more. and then I felt happy and chatted more, but avoided doing anything serious I’d meant to, but had a nice meal.
