I started playing Zelda 2, and it's caught me off guard how much of a jrpg it is compared to the rest of the series. There is no Master Sword, instead I have to progress and get stronger by grinding like it's Dragon Quest. I'm still having fun, but it takes some getting used to. What are you guys favorite Zelda games?

i never had any issues with skyward sword's controls, wielding your wiimote like a sword was one of my favorite parts. i didn't beat the game cause the guardians jumpscared the piss out of me but my brother did

Aah I miss Four Swords Adventures for the GameCube so much, we borrowed it once from a friend for months on end and had tons of fun with it, just hooking our GBAs into the CameCube controller thing on the Wii for multiplayer mode, competing for Force pieces, working together to solve puzzles, getting very heated in PVP, switching from TV screen to gameboy screen etc etc It's such a great game but when I tried to buy it again because nostalgia and fun IT COSTS 110+ EUROS WHAT IS THIS why are old nintendo games so expensive, they should rerelease it or sth, I still want to get my hands on a copy when I have money, I still have the cables for it and everything, I only need people who'll play it with me...
I love that game, but I don't think I could actually pick one favourite from all the Zelda games I've played, they're all so charming and I like different titles for different reasons...

I need to play zelda 2, i'd probably love its rpg type elements a lot, plus i'd get to be one of those people who says "ohho i've played zelda 2, im very cultured on retro games :3" which would make me happy
