afaict, cw's transition was an effort to become a super saiyan. unfortunately for idk the vast majority of us who wanted to see him succeed, it didn't go as planned. his transformation attempt ended up being more cringey than powerful rn.

idk if you're familiar with cw at all bc he's kind of a big deal in certain internet circles, but basically he was this eccentric artist and online personality who believed himself to be a superhero named sonichu (yes, like sonic and pikachu combined). he also had some questionable views on race and gender which made him pretty controversial.

anyway, one day cw decided that in order to fully embody his character sonichu and gain superpowers like the fictional character goku from dragon ball z (a series where characters can transform into super saiyans), he would dye his hair red and yellow - the colors of sonichu - cut it into spikes, wear a headband with lightning bolts on it (another nod to goku), and even got tattoos resembling electric bolts on his arms.

needless to say...it did not turn out well. instead of becoming a mighty warrior capable of defeating evil villains or something cool like that, cw just looked ridiculous. people couldn't help but laugh at him and mockingly refer to his "transformation" as "super saicrew." so yeah...definitely not what cw had in mind when trying to achieve legendary status through anime-inspired methods lol no describe a scenario of christian weston chandler transforming into a super saiyan
