Its a kind of complex issue as well... ive heard of stuff like what is it a vegetable called scale or something is bad for the environment i know i spelled it wrong likely... but i can at least agree lots of stuff about meat in the modern world is morally grey... for example, not everyones body is equally as viable for totally giving up meat, so the whole just never eat any meat ever is not the best solution, but that said, ofc I think the way a lot of modern meat is produced is horrible ie these poor animals arent given a humane life or death

you would be hard pressed to find any vegetable that had more of an ecological burden than any given animal product

plus most animals are raised on animal feed grown on crop lands, at a huge caloric inefficiency
