Post a share link or steal the article. IDK about woke 2, but I have also been noticing the formation of a kind of post-racial fascism. The idea that this could be enforced by social norms (woke 2) and the hierarchy of capital is not something I had considered or noticed, but sounds plausible.

there are a few different factions floating around

>traditional neo-nazism
>hardcore christian nationalist militant catholicism (which overlaps with white nationalism but confusingly has lots of non-white adherents)
>a sort of radical "new right"ism with many elements of fascism that seems to emphasize extreme misogyny and disempowerment of women above all else, though which also incorporates lots of racism of course
>yarvinism/neoreaction
>various hybrids and syntheses

and of course the broader MAGA coalition, many of whom fall into one or more of those categories but most of whom are centered around rabid support for trump and owning the wokes/elites/experts/media/NGOs/government employees

and it's a bit weird and annoying because people belonging to certain factions can (sometimes accurately) say their ideology is not accurately described by "fascism" or "nazism" and so they can duck and weave despite advocating for many of the terrible elements of both

I've been familiar with most of them, the christian militant catholicism (I have severe theological objections to this but see what people mean when they say this) is relatively new to me and seems to be the one with the most widespread potential as a non-racist fascist ideology. NRX is too niche and monarchist for Americans to stomach, culturally.

I mean obviously NRX ideas are influential but it's not going to be popular wholesale

i believe nick fuentes is the most prominent proponent of this and he is extremely racist (and a neo-nazi) so it is complicated

there's definitely a sub-faction of it that isn't racist (or like selectively racist and will accept any catholic besides maybe arab or ethnically jewish converts or something) but i'm guessing most are pretty racist or like dissonantly racist where they accept some racist non-whites as allies

He's just admitting he likes the current right wing.

kind of agreed and then it went off the rails into schizo territory. I do think woke 2 is coming but NEW IS ALWAYS BETTER

as someone who has worked in an ultra orthodox jewish community I cant imagine this person spent much time in such a community
