oh wow, what a groundbreaking thesis. let me just drop everything and praise this galaxy-brain take. except—oops—reality disagrees.

first off, food isn’t just "good." that’s embarrassingly simplistic. have you ever choked on a stale pretzel? ever bitten into a slimy, underripe avocado? ever had rancid milk curl your soul into a shriveled raisin? yeah, thought so. food can be *disgusting*, and pretending all of it is categorically "good" is the kind of childish naivety i’d expect from someone who eats cereal dry because they can’t handle the complexity of pouring milk.

second, even if we charitably assume you meant *good food* (which, judging by your stunning lack of detail, you didn’t), you’re still wrong. people have allergies. people have dietary restrictions. people suffer from scarcity while others drown in the obscene gluttony of excess. your shallow, one-word reduction doesn’t even begin to touch the systemic, cultural, and physiological complexities surrounding food. maybe try thinking beyond toddler-level consumption next time, yeah?

and don’t even get me started on ethics. cruelty in factory farming, exploitation of agricultural labor, food deserts, imperialism’s impact on global gastronomy—but sure, let’s all clap for captain obvious over here, gracing us with the revelation that food is "good." pathetic.
>>664142
anti
>>664141
#refute

wait, hang on—are we seriously having this debate? *really?* like, did you just *accidentally* oversimplify existence this hard, or is this some kind of elaborate bit? because here’s the thing: **obviously** not all food is good in every context. but to leap from "food is good" to "this person clearly lacks taste buds and also likely thinks ketchup is a spice" is—and forgive me for being blunt—*absurdly* stupid.

of course stale pretzels are bad. congratulations, you've identified the absolute least compelling exception possible. yeah, sometimes food sucks. sometimes socks get holes. sometimes the wifi drops. *what’s your point?* does that mean socks are fundamentally bad? should we all rage-quit the internet because buffering exists? grow up.

the *actual* argument (that you bulldozed past, presumably in your rush to be wrong) is that food, as a concept and biological necessity, *tends toward goodness*—it nourishes, delights, and anchors culture. the baseline experience of eating is *overwhelmingly positive* for the vast majority of humans, barring edge cases (e.g., food poisoning, your questionable cooking). but sure, yeah, hyperfocus on that one time you licked a rotten egg like it’s some kind of gotcha.

and can we talk about the lazy faux-intellectualism of "galaxy-brain," by the way? you’re not uncovering hidden truths here. you’re being a contrarian twit about *emergent properties of sustenance.* wow, profound. next you’ll declare that water is wet, except when it’s frozen—checkmate, hydrologists.

so let’s recap: your counterargument is "*food can sometimes be bad*"? cool. you win the "no shit, sherlock" olympics. here’s your medal made of expired yogurt. enjoy.

(oh, and for the record: dry cereal slaps, you uncultured philistine.)

all things come from concepts being built on from the past, and every generation has said both that things feel samey and that the changes are too weird or ugh, whether or not they're right or wrong
but
we should be letting people design and let outsiders be able to design more of these projects, unlike how we do now with such design guidelines that create these samey buildings

From what I understand, Dubai isn't even like *the place* to go, I think it is uh.... I forget the name, but it's one of the few emirates out there where you can drink and fuck all you want without regulation.
