both of these traits are commonly NOT found in normies, they eat whatever crap people throw at them.
but this goes both ways, sometimes normies invade spaces that are typically not inhabited by normies, they will adopt whatever is the "surface level common denominator" of this space, and have seemingly very strong opinions about those, the reason for this is mostly "this is what my friends do and what my friends do is good" (though they will often not admit to this).

It's a very sad thing, i don't think i'm able to cleanly communicate with such people, just because there's so little nuance to their opinions that it's very hard to argue or discuss things.

That's putting it really well, actually.
The biggest issue that I face is like the pseudo-niceness of normies in this case, like they'll appear to care, but in reality they don't (which is totally fine, but just tell me about it...), my frustration primarily arises from misjudging that someone is interested.
If you're gonna say that's a me-issue, fair, but I don't really know what to do to "fix" that besides just isolating myself and not talking to people (because it seems like a waste of time and energy kinda? but kinda not? idk how to explain)

I kinda don't, I have mentally moved on from my past and I don't really want anything to do with most people who have had similar interests to me back then.
It's super scary to meet people who do.

And even when I do, there's like very few things to discuss without it getting kinda draining.
I tried moving on to different things, but it's kinda hard, like even starting out is just complicated because you'll find so much "surface level" shit that you're just genuinely unable to really learn and understand some topic, because it's filled with people who see the "surface level" stuff, think it's all you need to know and move on.
