Well I think there's a few parts of this, one, like people severely underestimate the right wing's absolute media domination. Like uh... you'll often find that abroad alot of people do not adhere to Western values. You look at something like uh, for a less controversial example, Rwanda invading the DRC, and it's just the most brutal insane shit, where the DRC is trying to protect people who committed a genocide but you have to ultimately set that horrible behavior aside because at the moment Rwanda is doing some fucked up shit.
