so uh

meta/FB's headsets all run android

but they try to lock it down and they have a single custom app store that blocks u from using typical android services or installing stuff

it's p good, I really like the passthrough but need to get VRC setup again

I do recommend the quest 3S as its cheaper and such and basically the same

so on the q2 it was a lot more painful and I was watching a guy have to emulate Android in Android to get around locks from a few yrs ago lel but

their app store is like a stricter version of the apple app store where they approve and decide/cut a lot of apps that get requested to be put up

but theres some utility apps though nothing usually useful, like at all, unless u put it in dev mode and get around a bunch of stuff, but anyway

meta or FB approved a file manager app on the app store
and it's just like

they approved it without testing it fully it's basically just a full clone of the android file manager
and they seem to have accidentally allowed an app that can install APKs and other stuff for free with no restrictions
