this person became very obsessed with me lately

started seeing me as a "way out" and rushed around showing me to their friends family etc inviting me to everything

just started screaming when i said we needed to slow down

think this experience triggered something in me

yeah its sad i dont think it was a goodbye on good terms nor could it have happened

i dont think ive ever gotten or given a goodbye on good terms come to think of it

every time thats happened the person has come back into my life

so now im scared of those mutual goodbyes although i know they're something that can be done

i dont think human beings were meant to have 24/7 access to eachother in that sense

the thing is all these phones and communication networks are Very Economically Important now and if you dont use them you're at a disadvantage

so now our species is like this, at least until we find a way to like cope or develop some sort of etiquette

i think to anyone i meet in the future who starts to see me as a friend im going to make it very clear to them i am busy most of the day and that im someone you contact once every three days or whatever

or maybe if they're in a group chat its like a chill thing where we dont constantly ping eachother or share our deepest neurotic thoughts

yeah im not saying we need to return to a dark age without the internet thats black and white thinking

also i think we would all like be able to cope with instant communication with eachother if our societies did something about the cluster b pandemic i keep harping on and on about

yeah i miss sending my friend prison letters

it was the first time i saw him be sweet and sincere for more than 10 seconds

then we got on the phone and he started like saying so much shocking shit i think the prison started listening to us and cutting the calls

well you can imagine what two men in their mid to late 20s would say to eachother to make eachother laugh

no in the letters he just mainly reflected on life in jail and what he wanted to do when he got out

i dont really have a problem with our shock humour except its started to kind of reveal what a sad life hes had
