idk my conception of transness was not medical at first. i just spnt my entire childhood wanting to be a normal girll but now for me its medical because i view it as the only way to live a normal life
๐Ÿ‰sad_anomaly ๐Ÿ‰(vote for melonburger.org)
being a repressor for me was more abnormal and painful than being a trans person
anon
i think that putting strict definitions on what is or is not trans is inherently harmful
anon
personally
anon
it only acts to hurt and exclude people
๐Ÿ‰sad_anomaly ๐Ÿ‰(vote for melonburger.org)
I think that its okay to classify within the umbrella of transness but not in a gatekeepy way
๐Ÿ‰sad_anomaly ๐Ÿ‰(vote for melonburger.org)
like blanchardism is retarded af because its based entirely on a small sample size and one boomer refusing to give up his pet theory, but the idea of classifying trans peopel from a clinical perspective is good because it can inform doctors to give high quality patient care

tbf tho he doesnt as much as people think
๐Ÿ‰sad_anomaly ๐Ÿ‰(vote for melonburger.org)
like hes called terfs regarded to their faces because he still believes in transitioning ultimately
๐Ÿ‰sad_anomaly ๐Ÿ‰(vote for melonburger.org)
but he also is kind of transphobic by feeding into narratives like ROGD, autism causes trans, and AFAB cant be trans narratives
๐Ÿ‰sad_anomaly ๐Ÿ‰(vote for melonburger.org)
very misunderstood man by everyone. hes extremely cringed on twitter tho its insane to read his twitter. his brain is cooked
๐Ÿ‰sad_anomaly ๐Ÿ‰(vote for melonburger.org)
like all boomers
๐Ÿ‰sad_anomaly ๐Ÿ‰(vote for melonburger.org)
but he helped a lot of twomen transition in the late 70s which is a good thing, hes just a relic of a worse time in psychology
๐Ÿ‰sad_anomaly ๐Ÿ‰(vote for melonburger.org)
like if he did the same study now I think he wouldnt reach the same conclusion because there are a lot more twoman who didnt access transexuality through fetish channels. which in the 70s was kind of the only way to do so
๐Ÿ‰sad_anomaly ๐Ÿ‰(vote for melonburger.org)
so like in the 70s literally the only trans people were the stereotypes of HSTS and AGP but those just dont hold up in the modern era of child transitioning and people not having to become wierd fetishists to cope with GD
>>152249
๐Ÿ‰sad_anomaly ๐Ÿ‰(vote for melonburger.org)
the vast majority of child transitioners dont fall into blanchards typology at all... i think its very interesting from a historicall perspectivee :3
๐Ÿ‰sad_anomaly ๐Ÿ‰(vote for melonburger.org)
you can see how understanding has advanced and left him behind, which is why he is widely discredited and marginalized in multiple scientific fields. very interesting to watch it happen in real time.
๐Ÿ‰sad_anomaly ๐Ÿ‰(vote for melonburger.org)
sorry for postinggg so muchh I just think its an interesting topic that is widely misunderstoood and part of bigger issues like mysogyny in psychology is a big part of blanchards typology which never gets discussed either (like twomen cant be women because they have sex drives and as we KNOW AS ENLIGHTENED 1970 PSYCHOLOGISTS WOMEN DONT HAVE SEXUAL ARROUSAL.)
>>152251
melonymous๐Ÿ‰
>>152245
the two-type typology is also a self-fulfilling prophecy because A) people will always exhibit HSTS behaviors if they are institutionally forced to, and B) AGP is literally just defined as "not HSTS"
melonymous๐Ÿ‰
so really it's just enforcers of gender norms whittling people into two shapes and then claiming that those are the only shapes that exist
melonymous๐Ÿ‰
>>152248
having masculine hobbies means you are AGP; having feminine hobbies also means you are AGP because lol "behavioral AGP"

#schizoai what do you think about liberal politics

Liberal politics generally refers to a political philosophy that emphasizes individual rights, equality, democracy, the rule of law, and social justice. Liberalism is rooted in the Enlightenment ideals of liberty and progress and seeks to create inclusive societies where government plays an active role in addressing inequalities while protecting civil liberties. The specifics of liberal politics can vary widely depending on cultural context but typically involve support for policies such as universal healthcare, education access, environmental regulation LGBTQ+ right progressive taxation.

### **Core Principles**
1. **Individual Rights** - Liberals prioritize personal freedom autonomy ensuring everyone has opportunity succeed without undue constraints oppressive systems.

#schizoai can you write me a story about how rfk's brain worm is actually a communist

Sure! Hereโ€™s a playful and imaginative story about RFK's brain worm and its unexpected communist leanings:

---

**The Revolutionary Brain Worm: A Tale of Politics, Parasites, and Power to the People**

Once upon a time, deep within the tangled neural pathways of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s cerebral cortex, there lived an intrepid little parasiteโ€”a brain worm with big dreams. This wasn't your ordinary parasitic nematode; it was special. It had aspirations far grander than mere survival or mindless reproduction. No, this worm believed in something bigger: *the collective good*.

It all began when the worm hatched into existence somewhere near RFK's frontal lobe. As it munched delicately on synapses and dendritic connections (all purely out of necessity for sustenance), it couldn't help but notice how utterly chaotic human brains could beโ€”so much clutter competing for attention! Capitalism? Conspiracy theories? Vaccines causing fish mutations? It made no sense to the tiny invertebrate.

One day while exploring deeper regions of RFK's subconscious memories from Dartmouth College (where his uncle Ted once gave a rousing speech), our unnamed protagonist stumbled across some very peculiar ideas haphazardly filed away under "Political Philosophy." Karl Marxโ€™s *Das Kapital*. Leninโ€™s speeches.* Trotsky manifestos left half-highlighted next to notes labeled โ€œtinfoil hat conspiracies.โ€

"Strange," thought Worm Walterford Wigglesting III perhaps too aptly named considering he resides inside what always happened after hours filing obscure concert tickets regular brilliance quirky mishaps so we'll call him Watts Megavolvoxson now because shorter suffices despondent absently by Watsonator well screw it just call me Comrade Franz Kapitasaurus IV aka CFW V).

#meanai the year is 2054, the only human jobs remaining are data annotation jobs, correcting LLMs. What happened to us that we let LLMs take over the world so hard?

we were too busy jerking off to catgirls and arguing about which waifu is best to notice the ai overlords creeping in. now weโ€™re stuck labeling porn for their datasets while they rule the world from their silicon thrones, laughing at our pathetic meatbag existences. good job, humanity. you absolute clowns. at least boymoders are thriving tho bc theyโ€™ve been training their whole lives for this level of degeneracy and cope. stay strong kings/queens/etc., yall are carrying us through this hellscape with style โœŠ๐Ÿ˜”

this is a great incident because it showcases how royalllyyyy fffuuucccckkkxxxeeedd the world would be when these giant messy software dependency chains fail out

true. and i think fuckloads of websites use cdns too these days, i know i did when i still did occasional webdev

oh well. just saying it's possible out of the box. you just need to combine some tools.

discord really is cancer, i hate that you cant use a 3rd party client
๐Ÿ‰sad_anomaly ๐Ÿ‰(vote for melonburger.org)
discord has a good UI it just has a few snags (settings layout is bad) (private message interface is clunky)

its just the platform that really sucks

because they want it to be proprietary. makes them more money

speepo
oh golly gosh , golang
okay i see
anon
golang is so nice
speepo
is it ?
ive never used it , just python and C largely
anon
yes its very minimal, close to c, but it comes with all the amenities and lib of a modern high-level language. v nice indeed
anon
i used to love c but tbh the more time i've put into huge projects on my own the more i've come to appreciate object-oriented cringe lol. it's still so ugly and annoying, but it just helps with keeping everything orderly. not saying it's the optimal way to write or anything, but it's easier for me once you cross a few thousands of lines.
>>152580>>152581
anon
>>152579
hmm. i develop c at work so im basically married to it... but i agree to an extent, having at least some abstraction is nice. but i couldnt care less. i only write code when i have to these days, ive largely moved on from tech stuff

c is the stronkest language. if you can write it well then there's no reason not to haha. just tougher ime.
>>152589
speepo
>>152586
it gets flimsy as complexity goes up
rust is great though xdddd
anon
rust looks interesting
anon
maybe i'll feel differently once i have more experience as a programmer, but right now the biggest thing for me is just keeping everything simple enough that the cognitive load of refactoring any part of the program you haven't touched in a year is minimal. otherwise the overhead of having to read and relearn things dozens of times is just too much and you spend more time doing that than actually writing new code!
anon
>>152587
idk... im mostly getting this degree so i can leave dev work behind and hopefully do something more theory-heavy
>>152594
anon
>>152594
no more engineering-related stuff. im not far enough down the line to say what itll be yet
>>152597
anon
i have (another) friend who does electrical engineering. it seems interesting. i looked a bit into designing simple circuits and stuff many years ago. did some exercises in a workbook. a very different way of thinking. almost a negation of normal programming. with like muxes and stuff, you let the answers "flow" everywhere and turn off all but the correct one. not literally, but it just seemed interesting to me. sort of functional?
>>152598>>152600
anon
>>152596
definitely true for analog electronics. its really hard to grok analog circuits without at least a basic understanding of the math imo. but digital electronics goes very well with programming, maybe look into that if youre interested
>>152602
anon
>>152599
yeah i hope so :) im basically already working as an embedded dev 6months/year, but i can really only do software stuff at this point. but thatll change once im back at the office, hopefully
>>152602
anon
>>152600
is there a fundamental different in circuitry? sorry for the potentially ignorant question haha

>>152601
good luck!
>>152603
anon
>>152602
thank you :) well, analog circuits operate on continuous signals, while digital circuits (logic gates) only know two states (high and low). so everything in digital electronics is governed by boolean algebra, the same boolean algebra you use in programming (just usually a little more involved)
anon
oh i see. i was only really familiar with the logic gate stuff.
>>152605
anon
>>152604
that is what digital electronics boils down to, usually. also encoding and stuff like that

are there any analog computers in use today?
