i think over a decade of league of legends and other live service pvp games was more harmful than any sort of violent videogame as a kid but also i think it was beneficial because ive learned a lot about learning and improving and thinking from competitive games

i just find facing real humans way more engaging than most other games

yeah like I didn’t care about the characters in Skyrim or new Vegas when I got them, but weirdly enough I have cared about visual novel characters

theyre a real challenge they think and are better than me

or if I really want to be an elite gamer just make a victory screen with achievements in paint

but I’ve still enjoyed this nuclear reactor design game on itch.io criticality and exploring little games and finding ways to get cool things

but I played a point and click game recently I’ figured out and that was really fun

yeah! I guess I hated in some rpgs how the choices I wanted to make weren’t allowed and I was forced into things I didn’t have confidence in, and I felt bad when role playing that my character was doing more harm than I thought I would, but I never played as a girl or anything which I know was good for some people

I guess there are some characters I’d like to play as too like a painter or an explorer. I just feel sad with enjoying bad characters, but that’s probably healthy if you can do it in some ways
