horrid balance. they kinda don't really have any idea of how to make players do what they want them to so things end up weird. they change gameplay systems so things are artificially harder and it just ends up being annoying and the whole idea behind it is just forcing you to use more characters than usual

the most grindy thing i play is war thunder

war thunder is pretty absurd from what I've seen

its very good at first but it gets exponentially worse

it's also p2w and expensive with the p2w plus they can nerf good stuff easily

but the monetization is extremely predatory

the problem is the good premiums

I think probably one of the best monetized live service games is warframe

maybe it's a bit too grindy but that's just really how the game is for everyone

also the gacha skins are very sad. they learnt from what hoyo does and use gacha to hide actual prices
