Oh but we can definitely use genetic engineering to undo that. We could use crispr to alter a set of donor balls. Those donor balls produce sperm, we fractionate it out. Then you can use that to impregnate someone. Or you could go as far as genital recreation in the future. I haven't checked on the progress of 3d tissue printing. Last i checked there was a vasculature generation issue.

and like any kind of reversible prodecure is probably better described as supression of gamete production not real castration

So youd need something that fully and permanantly stops it and then something else that restarts it from a baseline of not working at all
