Like I saw an article about how Elon Musk is at something like 410 billion dollars and is on track to be a trillionaire by this date or whatever, and it's like these are completely meaningless numbers at a certain point. Sure that's a valuation of a set of objective metrics or whatever, but it's not really, there's no 410 billion dollar thing to buy or sell, there's no world where someone works through that money in a lifetime, nor does Elon even have that money in liquid cash. It's just entirely meaningless, the thing that would carry meaning is what he purchases, what he's doing with that money, but everybody talks about the number, not the I guess qualitative analysis of his spending
