I got one again after being ded from not having for a couple days

also lemme find pic of the ones I found at estate sale many yrs ago n have been using but have ver lil left of

writing n then I do some drafting of designs n stuff on paper or things
like either mapping things out of stuff or trying to do concept art esque things, haven't been doing them as much for a couple months thoughs

I had a couple of these n then a few of err

I think they may have been black wings or a similar one made by the same corp or stuff, but they were usually pretty light lead types so I could only use them for sketching art stuff, which is what they're generally used for

black wings or whatevs the name were the pencils that 1900s Disney/Walt disney would use and were/are like lemme see

a box of 12, new ones (I think the old ones go for more, for whatever specific reason), are 35-40 dollars

(I got like a bag of loose ones n other drafting stuff for maybe 10, I cant remember but they usually charge u just by the bag for loose stuff)

they're real cool but wish I had more practical ones

yeah geez some of the specific good variety ones (I'd have to c what mine are) go for like 40+ for a single pencil its crazy
I'm not into the collector or rare sorta thingy stuff like that cus yk

when I'm focused, to like

for me to be able to catalog my memory and remember things better or plan stuff, I write a lot of notes n random stuff filling up notebooks

been trying to find utensils that I like

would make it for u while u rested for a few

gonna go on FB marketplace and look for writing n drafting utensils n tools

if I didn't think I was gonna move I would get an old, used n robust drafting table, one I have rn is cheap n newer - not as well made - but bwa

found a guy selling a ton of old mechanical pencils n might have a Pentel(?) one I had a version of that was nice but broke down, it has 4-6 different retractable color leads in it with full metal body n sliding stuff to make it work

I just had had one I used for a couple yrs and I wasn't using it for the most intense stuff or my main writing n mainly annotating stuffs so wasn't as heavy
but it can be annoying n my old one I think is missing parts n the leads being gotten would make it pain in current day

yeh, these are small though and multiple colors

I forget w my model I haven't used it in a good few yrs cus of parts

and yeh I'm just trying to do stuff cheap n stuff that's still good, got them all from estate sales in nowhere

I looked and there seems to be boxed new ones selling n not just 20-40 USD singular ones

I like both n just depends, its often a thing where the wood ones n traditional pencils are easier for me when it comes to extended periods of writing on days my tremors make like

harder to hold a steady hand, though getting some nice thicker lead drafting pencils would also help this

I had been looking for nice utensils for drafting stuffs a while back but usually don't have the money or the push to spend it on self like at all

ye I wanna get, one day, an eink esque one that isn't junk but also isn't hundreds on hundreds of dollars
have mostly old iPads if I wanted to w that, but also have a 12+ in non display drawing tablet, that's older and a cheap Chinese Amazon seller one but still useful

and yeh

I have too many notebooks to sort through, I have 4 or 5 of those orange paper sized envelopes filled w pages next to me rn of various things n then too much other stuff

trying to figure out a method for all of it

I just have so much else I have to get going on that it falls down to being low priority even if it'd help momentum n workflow
