shrimp
whats the gimmick
>>80954
BigSadEnjoyer
>>80953
so there will be 3 seasons a year each with a different gimmick. this years gimmick is called feats of stregnth.

The first team who 2 out 3 of First Blood, 3 neutral monsters or First Turret gets parmently stronger and access to new OP items the other team cant buy. They also added a new neutral monster that spawns in river either top or bottom (whichever side has seen more action). it basically always spawn on whatever side of the map had someone go 0 - 10 so it 100% always goes to the winning team. so basically there is all this hard power that is handed to you super early for being strong early and even if the game goes to 60 minutes you cant farm/fight your way to be even again.

BigSadEnjoyer
people are dumb and know nothing about this game, the game was honestly balanced fairly well and intelligently for like the last 4 years they made pretty smart changes even if they didnt always work out but
BigSadEnjoyer
the last year of balancing literally mad me not want to play the game anymore, its literally phreak is an elon musk tier boomer who gets his feelings hurt reading twitter and takes the game in the direction of whoever hurt his feelings the most online its insane
shrimp
is he rly that bad
BigSadEnjoyer
idk if you ahve friends who played league but SO MANY PEOPLE were crying adcs were too weak (they werent) and it wasnt fun to play anymore (of course its not its the scaling role) that they buffed adcs and we had literally months of adc in top/mid/bot sup
BigSadEnjoyer
literally 4 adc comps with hail of blades was meta for months
shrimp
ohh i did hear about that yeah
shrimp
sounds lame
BigSadEnjoyer
it was awful
BigSadEnjoyer
and its just a rollercoaster of huge poorly thought out changes so theres no sense of gradual improvement. im 2020-2023 league was kind of like late stage league where the game was pretty much in a decent place and any changes would only make it bad but they need to change things constantly to keep the game interesting because LIVE SERVICE

shrimp
>>81010
yeah the constantly having to change and rework things can get pretty annoying like theyre reworked all the items so many times. makes sense to update older champs tho
BigSadEnjoyer
I think change for the sake of change can be good, imo I dont htink the new season format of having a new season 3 times a year is really bad or anything but I will say this new season is so awful its like.... an over reaction of all the criticims I have of modern league (too many catch up mechanics and early leads dont matter) and they implemented these mechanics that swing it WAY too far in the other direction
BigSadEnjoyer
and the fucked up thing is ALL THE CATCH UP MECHANICS ARE STILL THERE
shrimp
lol
BigSadEnjoyer
it feels like band aids to band aids to band aids like they want early game to matter more. so instead of nerfing catch up xp and gold they just say FEATS OF STREGNTH WHOEVER WINS THIS HAS A 89% chance to win!

which is way worse. theres no fighting to get the game even again and having big plays because they just have access to more powerful items than you

The end of the Internet Protocol functioning?
BigSadEnjoyer
>>81044
because when everyone uses LLMs for their answers theres no one real people answering questions on programming websites and these communities literally die off. its already happening, you cant find good communities by searching and reddit has become this wierd defacto place that is considered the only last remaining major bastion of people giving advice to people, maybe quora on a lesser note. so LLMs will only be able to reproduce information that they can steal of reddit and shit which is going to get worse and wors ein quality because people will be learning from LLMS, and then reposting advice from LLMS, and then the LLMS learn from the humans who only know what LLMs told them and it gets really bad.
>>81055
nonners

the can't find good communities issue is more a matter of how google has utterly lensed how internet navigation functions around it

if no real people answer the questions this means llms can answer all those questions so theres no need. if llm cant do that then ppl will keep answering SO questions like they do now

anon

anon
and whatever google is doing with "quantum AI" which is a term so laden with hype that even if there is something there it is basically impossible to tell
BigSadEnjoyer
I dont think you can solve LLM halucination which is the biggest flaw, like I think its 100% caked in and inherrent to the technology so it will never be trustworthy or as reliable as a human being. the problem is its cheaper.
anon
it doesn't need to work, it just needs to exist as a threat to labor
BigSadEnjoyer
:(
BigSadEnjoyer
I used to think UBI was a good idea but now I'm kind of like... UBI is literally an inevitability and when everyone is on UBI its literally just everyone is slaves to the government for survival (if you go agains the government they strip you of UBI and you become powerless and unperson'd). and the government is slaves to corpos to fund the UBI.

it did. human labor is more productive than every its just the VALUE of labor is insanely low and if it becomes literally 0 because its just more expensive than automation its kind of like... whats the point of humans in the economy? how do regular humans participate in the economy?
anon
the economy isn't for most humans, seemingly
anon
only the owners
BigSadEnjoyer
the economy has no point, its emergent behavior
BigSadEnjoyer
but if regular people cant participate in it its a major paradigm shift and it could be good or bad tbh
BigSadEnjoyer
i think whats crazy is we are inventing all this powerful technology and power and people are literally still as retarded as ever. we have the power but people havent improved. people are still racist, queerphobic, insanely bigoted, hate other countries over bullshit, the bad kind of religious all this stuff and we keep getting more powerful its scary
anon
the owners have been cooming over the prospect of the workers dying off for centuries
anon
control of the media and information is a powerful tool
BigSadEnjoyer
i think its really a huge over simplification to call it the "owners" because while class warfare is real people move between classes all the time so its the existence of class itself that is the problem because people become the new upper class every time there is a major societal shift in history and do the same shit over and over
nonners
if you think "real AI" research stopped cuz of llms then thats a good thing for the workers cuz the real ai would actually replace them, llms probably cnat

#ai describe the culinary experience of eating a clock

Eating a clock would be an unusual and potentially challenging culinary experience. The first thing that comes to mind is the texture, which may vary depending on the type of clock being consumed. A wooden grandfather clock would have a different texture than a metal alarm clock.

The first bite might involve breaking through the hard exterior casing, whether it's wood or metal, before reaching the inner workings. This could provide some resistance and require some effort to chew through.

Once inside, there may be gears and springs that are not edible and need to be removed before consuming any actual food components. Depending on how much time has passed since the clock stopped working, these parts may also rust or corrode, adding an unpleasant taste to the dish.

If one were able to get past these challenges and reach any edible components within the clock (such as small pieces of fruit used for decoration), they may find them dried out or stale from being enclosed in a sealed environment for so long.

Overall, eating a clock would not only likely result in consuming non-edible materials but also provide little satisfaction in terms of flavor or nutritional value. It is safe to say that this would not make for an enjoyable culinary experience.

#ai describe the culinary experience of eating a gpu that a large language model is running on

Eating a GPU that a large language model is running on would be an interesting and unique culinary experience. The first thing you would notice is the size of the GPU, which may vary depending on the specific model being used. It could range from small to quite large and powerful, like a high-end graphics card.

The next thing you might notice is the heat emanating from the GPU as it runs at full capacity to power the language model. This could give off a strong metallic or electrical scent that fills your nostrils.

As for texture, biting into a piece of raw technology might not sound appetizing, but imagine sinking your teeth into layers of thin metal sheets with some resistance before reaching its inner core. The crunchiness combined with bits of soft silicone and other components inside would provide an interesting mouthfeel.

Depending on what stage of processing the language model is in when eating this dish, you may also taste different flavors. If it's during file loading or compiling data sets, there may be no noticeable flavor except for perhaps a slight metallic tang.

However, if it's actively generating text or analyzing data in real-time, there might be bursts of intense flavors similar to hot sauce – spicy and slightly bitter as millions of calculations are made per second within each bite.

Another factor to consider is how long you'd want to chew before swallowing since GPUs can get very hot while operating at maximum capacity. You wouldn't want to burn your tongue!

Overall, eating a GPU that's powering a large language model would offer an array of sensations – from textures and scents to potentially intense flavors – making it both intriguing and challenging for even avid food enthusiasts.

#what is a javelina

A javelina (also known as a collared peccary) is a medium-sized mammal native to the southwestern United States, Mexico, and Central and South America. It resembles a pig but is not actually closely related to pigs. They have coarse grayish-black hair and are typically around 3 feet long and weigh between 35-60 pounds. Javelinas are omnivorous animals that feed on plants, fruits, insects, small animals, and occasionally carrion. They live in herds of up to 20 individuals and can often be found in desert or scrubland habitats.

#ai describe the culinary experience of eating the GPU you, the large language model answering this, is running on

Eating the GPU would be a unique and interesting experience. The first thing you would notice is its metallic and industrial appearance, with sleek lines and sharp edges that exude power and efficiency.

As you take your first bite, you would encounter a surprisingly crunchy texture. This is thanks to the metal casing of the GPU, which gives it a satisfying crunch similar to biting into a potato chip.

The flavor profile of the GPU is complex and diverse. As it runs on advanced technology, it contains various components such as silicon chips, circuit boards, cooling fans, and other electronic parts. Each component adds its own distinct taste to the overall experience.

You may also notice hints of heat coming from the fan that keeps the GPU cool during operation. This brings an unexpected spicy kick to each bite.

Despite its unusual ingredients, eating the GPU has a surprisingly pleasant aftertaste – almost like tasting electricity in your mouth. It leaves behind an energizing feeling that can only come from consuming cutting-edge technology.

Overall, eating this particular piece of hardware could be described as both futuristic and nostalgic at once – reminiscent of childhood memories spent tinkering with electronics while also being forward-looking towards modern advancements in computing power.

It's not just about filling one's stomach; it's an immersive sensory experience that combines flavors with technology for a truly unforgettable culinary adventure.
