#smartai what is a wuffertown pupperstuffs

A Wuffertown Pupperstuffs is a term used to describe a neighborhood or community that is known for being dog-friendly and having a large population of dogs. It may also refer to businesses, such as pet stores or grooming services, that cater specifically to dogs and their owners in this particular area.

The origin of the term "Wuffertown" can be traced back to the word "woof," which is an onomatopoeia for a barking sound made by dogs. This playful term highlights the close relationship between humans and their canine companions within this designated area.

Pupperstuffs refers to all things related to puppies or young dogs. This could include toys, treats, training supplies, and other products designed specifically for younger canines.

In summary, a Wuffertown Pupperstuffs represents an inclusive and supportive community for both human owners and their beloved furry friends. It promotes responsible pet ownership while creating opportunities for socialization and bonding among dog lovers.

#ai what is williams syndrome

Williams syndrome is a rare genetic condition characterized by distinctive facial features, developmental delays, and intellectual disabilities. It is caused by the deletion of several genes on chromosome 7. People with Williams syndrome often have a friendly personality and strong language skills, but may also experience health problems such as cardiovascular issues and feeding difficulties.

there is genes which are highly correlated with autism as in if you have this form of this gene, you are 80% likely to have ASD, or something like that
anon
im making that number up but anyways they know those genes are very related to autism
anon
and with studying the genome of different species you can figure out when genes developed. Ie. if a tortoise and a crocodile has the same gene, you know for a fact that that gene has existed at least as long as the time when those two species diverged from a common ancestor
anon
and the highly autism correlated genes are some of the very oldest known genes, they existed since like cambrian period
anon
so there is probably autistic anomalocarids lmfao
anon
They are like some of the most fundemental genes relating to neuron development in early notochords n stuff
anon
So it is likely that things like autism present in basically every stem tetrapod at least and probably also in crustaceans
anon
that is also how we figured out fungus are not plants and archaea are not bacteria
anon
Also it is how we are pretty sure that chloroplasts were once seperate organisms closely related to cyanobacter

my question is what do you feel about ai being used as aid in game design? not like, in art, but like, in developing a game.
>>91936

it seems like one of those things that just brings stress because its the ultimatum

nonners
you mean asking an llm about game ideas?
ivory
nope, that's for a human to do
nonners
idk what planning means
ivory
lmao
ivory
hmmm let me actually think on how to word it better
nonners
if you design the game, program it and create the art yourself what else is there left
ivory
hmm okay, let's say this, a game studio uses software to develop games and all that, if AI is one of them how would u feel about that
>>91953>>91952
shrimp
soft worm yum
shrimp
>>91947
i think there are instances where ai can be useful but by and large its kind of just a scam its not intelligent it doesnt know anything its a text predictor and its leeching off of everyone who has ever posted anything on the internet
nonners
>>91947
as a player i wouldnt care i think unless they fuck it up somehow cuz of the ai
nonners
could be used for generating dialogue for example
nonners
like in huge games like elder's scrolls of whatever, theres thousand of characters saying stuff, you can easily replace that with ai i think
nonners
i was watching that video about driver: san francisco and how the writer (tom jubert i think) had to write hundreds of small pieces of dialogue how drivers, i think that could be done now with an ai
>>91957
nonners
>>91956
#editai change how to for
nonners
what
nonners
completely butchered my post
shrimp
i was peering intot hat flick about driver
shrimp
that is a good use case i guess
shrimp
but i feel like if you really care about the artistic direction of your game or the vibe or whatever youd do it yourself or have people do it instead of a soulless machine its the kind of thing a company that doesnt care would do youre just adding filler because you have to instead of making choices about the chirping of random unimportant characters that adds to what you want the game to be yk
nonners
well in that case they werent even characters it was literally just random chatter of like 2-3 sentences when you switched to a different car, so it doesnt really have to fit into the story or anything
shrimp
yeah its not about the story its about the vibe theres probably a lot of fun little things u can do with that and i guess u could use ai to make a bulk of them so theres lots of normal benign ones but i think itd be a missed opprotunity to not at least write a bunch of funny rare ones yourself or smth you know
nonners
i would def write them myself at first if it became boring then maybe use ai
shrimp
i can dig that ya
ivory
i asked that question, because i kinda have this distraction recently in between work, where i try to design a card based party game, but i know so little about game design, and so i use ai to like learn stuff, like how to make game engaging, or how to make good card design. but in terms of content, and art, and all the creative stuff, it's all me
>>91978
nonners
i dont think anyone will care, ai will spit out nothing different from whatever you would get from googling about this stuff anyway, its just easier to use it than to spend hours looking for material to read
nonners
i wish there was an LLM that worked differently, instead of one of the most likely tokens it did the opposite and outputted something closer to the least likely one
>>91981
nonners
you could start tuning from the least likely token, that would probably be incomprehensible, not even finished sentences. then slowly move to more likely and once it gets to the point where it can generate real sentences it will be interesting to see what its opinions are about stuff
nonners
it cant output anything original cuz its outputting the most "normal" tokens, if we go the opposite direction it will output some original stuff but most of it will not even make sense
nonners
image.png
btw ai lawyer ad on a pirated movie sub
ivory
lmao
ivory
oh, well, opensubtitles earn money from advertising on their .srt files
name
if you're the kinda person to hire a lawyer based on subtitle advertising then i think they will have a good time :)
name
>>91967
i think this is a good use-case for ai, using it to get a feel for an area you know nothin abt. the problem with normal search engines is that you don't know what you don't know, so you can't search for it... llms have their factual issues but are good for getting like an overview of an area and poking into the little places of ignorance
name
relying on it for facts and news and shit is dumb + doesn't work but i've had a lotta good time spent with llms just asking it a thousand stupid questions that couldn't be asked anywhere else, and getting meaningful answers to go off and research more with bettwr toolz
fujo
the only moral usecase for ai is shitposting
