that said I think its hatred is over hyped like the meta plot was bad but the actual zone storylines were erally good I LOVED the faerie forest so much it was REALLY pretty I loved that zone immensely

the meta story was that the jailor was ruining death and everything that existed in all wow lore up until this point was leading up to this ONE guy behind everything as a ret con and he was really boring and lame and no one gave a fuck about him and Arthas is like this beloved goofy villain character that everyone loves that they did nothing with and it sucks ass. the self contained stories of the 4 zones were okay to very good imo.

I think Lord Denethal or w/e his name was was a very good villain too

this is why GW2 is superior every expansion is a side grade all the content is relaventt its the best mmo for casual players the goal is just to explore and look fashionable xD
