Estrogen is pretty safe. It's the same estrogen half the planet is using just fine. If you were to get estrogen from the doctor they are gonna first ask you about your risk for blood clots, so like family history of strokes and stuff, and if you are a smoker blah blah. It's anti-androgens that can have way more issues.

So, I started hrt with pills ~1 month ago but things changed, but I will probably have to change to birth control injections soon because of money. Those that come with a progestin/progesterone.
I want to know how much this will fuck my breast development. Is it permanent? Should i try to keep on a hondose for a while to keep the progestin low?
If it is important, the vial i can buy is 100mg Algestone + 10mg Estradiol Enanthate. I'm thinking of using half of it each 10 days (so 5mg estradiol enanthate each 10 days).

i know that a lot of them try to hondose you and i obviously dont want that to happen. i think im alright at arguing and can stand my ground if i really need to, but i dont know much about hrt in general other than past research on diy. are there any graphs i can show them or something so i can argue my dosage if i need to? how do i know what a good dosage is more my weight (~130 lbs last i checked)? im thinking of avoiding pills because ive heard AA are shit and id like to keep my liver, so how good are gel or injections?

the reality is that it's very hard to argue what you want with doctors. the vast majority of doctors are going to go by the book, and it will only make it worse for you if you try to argue
most likely the doctor will start you on a small dose of pills, like 2mg + AA which is fine to start. Just make sure you're taking it sublingually even if the doctor says to swallow, and make sure you're increasing the dosage to 4mg after a couple months, and then 6mg.
you can also ask for injections, but they might not want to prescribe that at the beginning of transition. So just do what they say within reason for the first few months, and if 6 months from now they refuse to increase your dose or something then start thinking about diy

I'm a huge fan, I'm 2y4m transition now and started perlutam around 1y4m hrt and it worked waaaaaayy stronger than what I was on bf ( 2mg valerate for a while and then 4mg valerate, the endo told me I could go 6mg or go to perlutam and I chose injections bc only way for getting progesterone here )
anyway perlutam is the best to get a good body and it did wonders to my face, it's a bit more risky than pills ofc
