the meta story was that the jailor was ruining death and everything that existed in all wow lore up until this point was leading up to this ONE guy behind everything as a ret con and he was really boring and lame and no one gave a fuck about him and Arthas is like this beloved goofy villain character that everyone loves that they did nothing with and it sucks ass. the self contained stories of the 4 zones were okay to very good imo.

I think Lord Denethal or w/e his name was was a very good villain too
